URBAN MYCELIUM: RECLAIMING THE UNDERGROUND

''Zoom in! There is a truth beyond the surface of the cultural landscape: a molecule that can only be seen through the microscope... An unheard voice... A creative force from below! As a collection of organisms, connected by electrical impulses that run through the veins of the underground - as a mycelium of subcultures!!!''

Urban Mycelium: Reclaiming the Underground was a multi-media exhibition that deals with the gestures and strategies of subcultures with a focus on their socio-cultural potential of sustainability.

The programme included:
- FNS photo exhibition from recent and legendary raves throughout the past 6 years. (featuring photos from myself, @felixnathanfuss, @raizebc @anxalogic and @robchamber__)
- Film screenings ('Faceless Spaces' by Foolin Fin, documentary on the making of Brache 09 + after movie of raving the Paris Catacombs.)
- Panel talk ''How to sustain in Subcultural movements'' featuring speakers from Johnny Knüppel, Fluid Vision, Fraktion Nimmersatt, Sound System Culture Berlin and Sfora Festival.
- VR Experience from Beat 'Em Hub (featuring games 'Techno Banter' and 'Strands of Mind'.)
- Zine Corner (Launch party of ROCKN'ROLL SUICIDE 4)
- Live Performance (by Lulu in the Sky with Diamonds)
- Art, Installations, Sculptures + Video mapping/projections
- Market area (stalls from Sturmzx2 and Tesilis)
- DJs (downstairs in gallery + upstairs in bar/market area) FNS Residents : Gościńska, Hazumfefer, Protect Ryan, Ró-ish, Sterioa + guest, Cate Hops.
